LOGAN MUCHA BIO
Logan Mucha is a Melbourne-based director. He has directed a variety of successful short fiction and documentary films, graduating from the Australian Film, Television and Radio School in 2012.
His feature debut documentary, East Bloc Love, explored LGBT rights across Eastern Europe, focusing on a small group of activists in Minsk, Belarus. The film had its world premiere at the 2011 San Francisco International Frameline Film Festival and has since screened at numerous festivals including Amnesty International’s Movies That Matter and won Best Documentary at the Merlinka Film Festival, Belgrade. His short documentary, Beneath Heaven, won Best Australian Short at the Human Rights Arts & Film Festival 2014.
He has worked with award-winning production company, @Radical.Media, on their Médecins Sans Frontières documentary in Sydney. He also worked in production at @Radical.Media’s New York office, assisting Joe Berlinger in production on feature documentary ‘Whitey: United States of America v. James J.’ and two factual series. He currently works as a creative and content director for multi-disciplinary production company, The Sweet Shop.
